Stand For What You Believe

I'm very happy to find that people are so willing to stand up for what they believe. I had the wonderful opportunity this last weekend to watch and participate with almost nine hundred 16-23 year olds who did exactly this. They came and let the world or everyone know what they believe and how they excited they are to be able to stand for it.

These nine hundred people were people who are planning on serving missions for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They want to go and spread the word of God to people around the world. All of them came to a conference that the Ogden Institute held and they spent their weekend attending a conference, expressing their want and excitement to serve.

I know personally so many people who are getting ready to go and serve.

Adrienne Child: Alabama Birmingham Mission Spanish Speaking

These are just a few of the people who are going. I know people going to Texas, Maryland, Michigan, Chile, Brazil, Nicaragua, Sweden, Florida, and Germany. They want to stand for what they believe and share what they believe.

You may not be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and you certainly don't have to dedicate two years of your life to show how you stand for what you believe. Find a way that works for you and show it. Make a difference in your life and the lives of those around you. Stand up for your beliefs and show it in your everyday actions. Make the decision and never go back.
